Making that first step to change can often be daunting and change can mean different things to each of us.
Emphasis is placed on the therapeutic relationship, a safe environment to enable you to feel comfortable throughout the therapy journey. CBT is a collaborative experience where we will work towards your aims and goals. The process will involve in-between sessions work, you will be invited to practice the tools and techniques that you have been learning in therapy, which we will review in the next session.
We appreciate how difficult it can be for some people to make that first step to seek professional help. If you are considering CBT and want to know more, what it involves, why not give us a call or email. So that you can decide firstly if CBT approach is suitable for you and whether you would like us to work together.
